Scarborough Made

Scarborough Made is a social impact project founded by artists Alex Narvaez x Sid Naidu to champion storytelling in Toronto’s East. The project started with documentary media production and evolved to public art installations and creative mentorships for emerging artists. SNCD studio supports Scarborough Made’s brand development through grant writing, non-profit administration and project management.

 

Grant Writing.

SNCD Studio has helped raise over 100K in grant funding for the Scarborough Made project over a span of 2 years. We continue to support the project as a social impact initiative by pitching the creative vision of co-founders Alex Narvaez x Sid Naidu and helping administer publically funded projects with strategic planning, communications and management.

Non-Profit Administration

The growth of the Scarborough Made brand through public funding has helped evolve the artist collective as a not-for-profit entity. SNCD Studio supports the social impact brand with non-profit organizational development to help with long-term strategy and planning of the initiative and its mission to champion storytelling in Toronto’s East.

Project Management

From public art installations to creative mentorship programming, we have supported the Scarborough Made brand with project management, logistical planning and communications for 2 large-scale mixed media public art installations as well as the curriculum development of their inaugural creative mentorship program for emerging artists.
